Ouseburn Cricket Club

Ouseburn CC is pleased to announce that the 2020 cricket season will finally start for our senior teams on Saturday 18th July.

 

The first team will be playing at home to Helperby CC starting at 1.30pm. Each team will play 8 games (weather permitting) between 18th July and 5th September. The top four teams in each division will then proceed to a play-off competition.

All of these matches will be played under strict Covid19 restrictions. The club has carried out a risk assessment which are published here.

The club would love to see spectators supporting our teams, but we must advise that usual social distancing rules will need to be observed. In order to safeguard all participants, the following restrictions will apply:

• The Jeff Gill room will be closed.

• There will be no food, teas, coffees or alcohol on sale

• The balcony outside of the Jeff Gill room will be out of bounds for spectators

• Spectators will need to bring their own seating arrangements. An area to the side of the scorebox will be set out for their use

• Male & female toilets will be available, accessible through the dressing room entrance. This area will be restricted to one person at a time.

Despite all of the above we look forward to seeing as many as feel able to attend.
